Beacon is not built, so there is nothing to download today. This page explains what it is planned to do, in future tense.
Keep a share available from your own computer
Beacon is planned as a small app you run on your own computer. It will keep selected images available for direct sharing while the computer is connected, so a recipient can still connect after the browser tab is closed. Your files will stay on your machine; IndoImage will coordinate the connection rather than store the image.
Beacon will let you choose files explicitly, stop any share at once, and show each connection as direct or relayed. If Beacon disconnects, its active share identifiers expire, and reconnecting will not silently restore them — you will choose to share again to create a fresh identifier and key.
Beacon is planned to be open source, with signed releases and published hashes. That plan is not a finished artifact: there is no published repository, no download, and no release to verify today. This page will say otherwise only when that is true.
What works right now
The web tools that exist today do not need Beacon. You can edit, convert, compress, crop, resize, and remove metadata right now, in your browser.
