The embassy photo specification is 33 x 48 mm (390 x 567 px at 300 dpi) and the digital JPEG must be between 30 KB and 80 KB.
What the authority says not to do: Do not retouch the face or the background; the embassy specifies the head position and background and a person verifies the printed result.
