India passport photo (35x45 mm print)
The passport application instruction booklet asks for a colour photo 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm (35 x 45 mm, or 413 x 531 px at 300 dpi) for applications submitted outside a PSK or POPSK; a photo is not required for PSK/POPSK applications.
What the authority says not to do: Do not edit the face or the background; the booklet's photo rules are checked by the passport office staff who take the photo on site.
