Japan passport photo (35x45 mm, online under 600 KB)
Japan's passport standard is 35 x 45 mm (413 x 531 px at 300 dpi) with the head about 34 mm from chin to crown, and the online application JPG must be 600 KB or smaller.
What the authority says not to do: Do not retouch the face; the head size and the plain background are checked by the passport office, not by this tool.
