New Zealand digital passport photo (3:4, 250 KB-5 MB)
New Zealand wants a portrait 3:4 JPEG between 900 and 4,500 px wide and 1,200 to 6,000 px high, and the file must be at least 250 KB and no more than 5 MB.
What the authority says not to do: Do not crop out the head or shoulders; New Zealand's own photo checker rejects images that look edited or stretched.
